General Questions

What types of equipment does Emporium Point review for repair?
We review selected medical, dental, beauty and aesthetic equipment, as well as eligible ASIC miner and board-level electronics requests. Acceptance depends on the exact model, fault, parts situation and the applicable service scope, so the first step is always to share the equipment details.
Do you repair every brand and model?
No. We do not make a blanket “all brands” promise. Support is confirmed after we review the brand, model, symptoms, technical information and likely parts availability. If a model is outside our scope, we will say so before arranging the equipment.
What information should I send before arranging a repair?
Please send the equipment type, brand, model, fault symptoms, error codes, your UAE location and any previous repair history. Clear photos or a short video are especially useful when the fault is intermittent, physical or related to a display message.
Can you review equipment that another workshop could not repair?
Yes, difficult or previously unresolved cases can be submitted for technical review. Previous rejection does not mean the unit is automatically repairable, but it gives our technicians useful context. Please tell us what was already tested, repaired or replaced.
How does the repair process work?
The usual flow is: share details, initial review, arrange pickup or drop-off where applicable, diagnose the fault, explain the recommended work and quotation, obtain approval, repair and test, then return the equipment with the relevant service information.
Can you give a final repair price or completion date before inspection?
Usually not. An accurate quotation and realistic timing depend on the fault, access to components, previous damage and the testing needed after repair. We can discuss the likely next step from your photos and symptoms, but final cost and timing are confirmed after diagnosis.
Is pickup and delivery available across the UAE?
Pickup and delivery can be arranged for eligible requests across the UAE. Availability, timing and any related conditions depend on the equipment, location and service scope, so these details are confirmed before collection.

Medical Equipment

Which medical devices can you assess?
Selected requests may include ultrasound systems and probes, colonoscopy processors and light sources, ECG or EKG units, patient monitors, pulse oximeters, fetal monitors and electronic control boards. We confirm support only after checking the exact model and fault.
Do you repair medical equipment boards at component level?
Where technically appropriate, we investigate the board and failed circuit before recommending complete replacement. A component-level repair is chosen only when it is safe, testable and sensible for that device; otherwise we explain why another solution is needed.
Can you inspect an ultrasound probe with image or cable problems?
Yes, selected probe faults can be reviewed, including cable damage, connector-pin problems, acoustic-lens damage and image-quality symptoms. The probe type, model and sample images help us decide whether inspection is practical.
What colonoscopy processor or light-source faults can be reviewed?
Depending on the model, we can review power-supply, connector, cooling, lamp, control and image-related symptoms. Because these systems vary considerably, send the processor or light-source model and the exact error or behaviour first.
Can you repair patient monitors, ECG units and fetal monitors?
Selected power, display, connector, control and signal-related faults can be assessed. The device must be inspected before we confirm the repair route, especially where accessories, sensors, software or calibration-related work may also be involved.
03

Dental Equipment

Which dental equipment can be submitted for repair?
We review selected dental chairs, RVG systems, intraoral scanners, OPG and CBCT equipment, autoclaves, sterilizers, handpieces, micromotors, suction units, compressors, curing lights and scaling equipment. Support remains subject to model and fault review.
Can you diagnose RVG, intraoral scanner or dental imaging faults?
Yes, we can assess selected sensor, cable, connector, communication, power and image-quality problems. Please include the software message, device model and a sample image where possible, because not every imaging issue is caused by the sensor itself.
What dental chair problems can be checked?
Movement, electrical, hydraulic, switch, control and power symptoms can be reviewed on selected chairs. A clear video of the fault and the chair model often helps us identify what should be inspected before a visit or collection is arranged.
Do you repair dental autoclaves and sterilizers?
Selected cycle, temperature, pressure, seal, solenoid, power and control faults can be assessed. Routine repair or maintenance is not presented as a calibration or regulatory certificate; any required documentation must be confirmed separately before service.
Can handpieces, micromotors, suction units and compressors be repaired?
Selected mechanical, electrical, airflow, pressure and control faults can be reviewed. We first check the model, condition and economics of repair, because severe wear or unavailable parts may make replacement the more responsible recommendation.

Beauty & Aesthetic Equipment

Which beauty and aesthetic devices do you support?
Selected laser, IPL, HIFU, RF, HydraFacial, BBL, body-contouring, slimming and skin-rejuvenation equipment can be submitted for review. The model, handpiece or applicator type, error message and treatment history are important before acceptance.
Can you diagnose a laser or IPL machine that does not fire or has weak output?
Yes, selected power, control, cooling, handpiece and output-related symptoms can be assessed. We do not assume the lamp or handpiece is the cause: diagnosis should separate the visible symptom from the failed component.
What should I do if an aesthetic machine overheats or shuts down?
Stop repeated use until the cause is checked. Cooling circuits, airflow, fans, pumps, sensors, power electronics and environmental conditions may all contribute. Send the model, error code and a video of the shutdown sequence before arranging service.
Do you review HIFU, HydraFacial and body-contouring equipment?
Selected cartridge, applicator, suction, flow, pump, handle, cooling, power and control faults can be reviewed depending on the machine. Consumables and repairable technical faults are assessed separately so the recommendation is clear.
05

ASIC Miner & Electronics

Which ASIC miner requests can be reviewed?
Selected ASIC miners, hashboards, power supplies, control boards, fans and cooling-related faults may be considered after a model, fault, parts and service-eligibility review. Please do not send a unit until acceptance has been confirmed.
Can you investigate a miner with a missing hashboard or low hash rate?
For an eligible unit, diagnosis may include ASIC chains, power rails, voltage regulation, connectors, thermal behaviour and the board’s reported errors. Hash logs and the exact miner model are useful before physical inspection.
Can miner power supplies and control boards be assessed?
Selected startup, voltage, shutdown, communication and boot symptoms can be reviewed where the unit falls within the accepted service scope. We check whether the fault is isolated to the PSU or control board before recommending replacement.
Do you help with overheating and cooling problems in mining equipment?
Eligible requests may include fan, airflow, dust, temperature, thermal-interface, hydro-cooling or immersion-related symptoms. The operating environment matters as much as the unit, so provide inlet temperature, cooling setup and recent logs where possible.

Preventive Maintenance

What is the difference between repair and preventive maintenance?
Repair responds to an existing fault. Preventive maintenance checks equipment while it is still operating so wear, contamination, loose connections, cooling problems and early warning signs can be addressed before they cause larger interruptions.
Which maintenance frequencies are available?
Emporium Point structures maintenance around quarterly, semi-annual and annual schedules. The right frequency depends on equipment type, usage, environment, operational risk and the cost of downtime; it should not be selected from frequency alone.
What is normally included in preventive maintenance?
The scope may include visual inspection, cleaning, power and connector checks, cooling review, basic performance checks, early-fault observations and a report with recommendations. The final checklist is agreed for the equipment category and selected plan.
Can preventive maintenance prevent every breakdown?
No. It can reduce avoidable risk and reveal developing problems, but it cannot guarantee that a component will never fail. Its practical value is better planning, earlier decisions and fewer faults caused by neglected maintenance conditions.
Do you issue PPM, calibration or compliance certificates?
Preventive-maintenance records, stickers, calibration requirements, electrical-safety tests and authorised-provider rules differ by equipment, facility and regulator. We confirm the required documentation before service and do not describe routine maintenance as formal certification unless that scope is specifically verified.

Still not sure where to start?

Send the equipment details first. We will review the request and explain the next practical step before collection or repair approval.
